Working Groups

GO2AL collaborative will do more than any organization can alone
The main purpose and advantage of partnerships and collaboratives are to leverage collective knowledge, resources and efforts towards a common goal. In any collaborative, knowledge and experience sharing will naturally occur. Even with limited resources and funding, a group convening regularly will catalyse meaningful networking and collaborations that often lead to impactful activities and results, but these dynamics are often difficult to directly measure. However, only with sufficient funding and dedicated staffing will partnerships or collaboratives have the resources and incentives needed to move beyond knowledge sharing and to truly and effectively coordinate and co-create together. The success of GO2AL is not what its member organizations do for oxygen individually – it is what members can achieve together that no individual organization could achieve alone.
GO2AL objectives driven by its working groups
GO2AL has structured its working groups to drive each of its five objectives and to be able to focus members’ action against the most common challenges that can be solved through better coordination. An overview of GO2AL’s five objectives and activities are summarized below.
