Strengthen innovative supply chains and market shaping

GO₂AL will work to ensure improved pricing and services as well as increased production capacity in LMICs, facilitate coordinated technical assistance and training to countries, engage with LOX-producing gas companies and establish improved, lower cost supply chains.

Objectives: strengthen innovative supply chains and market shaping

Outputs/activities:

• Targeted engagement with industry focused on improving oxygen supply chain capacities, resilience and cost reduction
• Support countries on demand forecasting and planning processes to ensure uninterrupted oxygen supply
• Support countries to build local capacity for biomedical engineers to ensure functionality and sustainability of oxygen systems
• Publish map of major oxygen suppliers to streamline access to improving maintenance and distribution efficiency
• Identify and support piloting of innovative oxygen technologies

• Improved supply chain resilience and industry collaboration
• Enhanced oxygen supply and capacity building in priority LMICs
• Accelerate oxygen innovations

Targets 2030:

80% of oxygen facilities in priority LMICs have resilient, sustainable oxygen supply systems.
