Oxygen Roadmap Support

To support UN Member States, GO₂AL is offering targeted technical support to countries interested in either developing a costed, national oxygen scale-up plan (roadmap) or updating an existing roadmap. These roadmaps are essential to mobilizing domestic and international investments, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring long-term sustainability of oxygen eco-systems beyond the COVID-19 response.
This support will be offered through GO₂AL’s Working Group 3 on country support, which focuses on providing technical support in the form of tools, global best practices for adoption, and thought partnership to Ministries of Health who lead the development and implementation of national oxygen strategies in their countries. Specifically, we can support through:
- Access to adaptable roadmap guidance documents and global best practices
- Desk research and analysis of available country data
- Technical consultations with global experts in areas such as oxygen quantification, implementation, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), oxygen systems engineering and maintenance, as well as strategic planning
- Review and feedback on draft roadmap documents
- Assistance in stakeholder coordination and roadmap dissemination
- In-country visits to facilitate working groups or consultations
