Support robust country planning and implementation

GO₂AL will support countries in the development of robust, costed national oxygen roadmaps, provide coordinated technical assistance and strengthen regional networks. GO₂AL will also promote joint learning and knowledge sharing between countries to expedite affordable and equitable access to oxygen in LMICs and support countries to sustain their oxygen ecosystems independently.

Objectives: Support robust country planning and implementation

Outputs/activities:

• Enable countries to develop costed roadmaps and plans
• Support countries to find contextualized solutions for challenges encountered when implementing oxygen scale-up activities
• Promote development of globally applicable tools, guidelines, training and standard operating procedures

Expected outcomes:

• Countries have costed roadmaps and plans
• Countries able to coordinate, through an “oxygen taskforce”, their activities to avoid duplication and maximize impact
• Countries can sustain their comprehensive oxygen ecosystems independently

50% of LMICs have costed roadmaps or plans
