Fewer than 50 percent of health facilities in low- and middle- income countries have uninterrupted access to medical oxygen. #globaloxygenalliance
Supporting Text: Fewer than 50 percent of health facilities in low- and middle- income countries have uninterrupted access to medical oxygen, which puts lives at risk. We need to increase affordable, equitable access to medical oxygen, a building block for health systems strengthening, to ensure that no babies and children die from pneumonia or other critical illnesses, and pregnant women and surgical patients have reliable access to therapy.

Tile 4:
Strengthening oxygen and health systems worldwide can cut hospital deaths of children under five by a quarter and hospital-based pneumonia deaths among children by half. #globaloxygenalliance
Supporting Text: One of the biggest benefits of universal health coverage is saving the lives of mothers, newborns and young children. Oxygen is so essential to the survival of children under five that strengthening oxygen systems worldwide can cut hospital deaths of children substantially.
